Nick Fountain

Nick Fountain (Drums/Percussion)
Born to play the drums, Nick was banging on pots, pans and his brother’s drum set at the tender age of three. With his older brother as both competition and a mentor, the boys were truly self-made and would fall asleep hammering out songs on their headboards in the night. In 1999 Nick began playing for his Gospel Church C.O.G.I.C, to progress and learn from another mentor, Big…

Eric Sumner

Eric Sumner (Lead Guitar- Electric/Acoustic)
Eric started playing the guitar at age 7 and never stopped learning. His technical skill and ability to play with anything and anyone, combined with his creative use of effects, enables him to transform his electric guitar into the ideal counterpart of solo sound. With influences such as Tool and Dredge, Pink Floyd and Radiohead, Eric generates the edge that solidifies the band as Rock and…

Daniel Best

Daniel Best (Piano/Keyboards/Vocals)
Co-author and musical instigator, Daniel has not just played the keys, but composed music; he brings his own style to the band, bringing a different style of piano to Rock and Roll.  Daniel first began writing music at age thirteen when the journey that is the Best Brothers Band began with the early jams with John and Eric.  Forced apart from his bandmates, Daniel continued writing and performing…

Johnathan Best

John Best (Vocals/Electric/Acoustic/Keyboard)
Unafraid to bare his soul on stage, John expresses an intensity that draws you in.  Taught piano by his older brother Daniel, John began writing songs at age twelve. But it wasn’t until he schooled himself on the guitar and moved to mountains of CO, that he was truly inspired to make a life out of music. Living with Eric, the boys were able to jam and create…

Best Brothers Band

The Best Brothers bands journey began in the winter of 2009 as they recorded their first demo.  Always a close group, John, Daniel, and Eric dreamt of the stage.  However, a seven year span of cross-country colleges and traveling displaced the musicians, forcing each to develop individually and specifically, tailoring themselves for the next step.  In mid-September of 2009 BBB was introduced to Nick Fountain, a self-made drummer with a…

In mid-September of 2009 BBB was introduced to Nick Fountain, a self-made drummer with a taste for James Brown and Mary J. Blige. His eccentric, yet universal beats complemented the sound so completely that the Brothers knew they had found their man.

Jan 2010 found the group back in the studio, creating what are sure to be hits, Play with Fire and This is what is Feels Like. Minor lilts mixed with haunting harmonies, poignant lyrics and a chorus that will make you move and sing along are just a few reasons why these songs make you stop and listen. BBB is currently performing around the Southeast, packing venues and having a good time.

Influences: Lenny Kravitz, U2, Owl City, John Mayer, Kings of Leon, Death Cab for Cutie, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rascal flats, Explosions in the Sky, MGMT, Dread Clampitt, Billy Joel, Coldplay, Joe Satriani, Metallica, Tool, Dredge, Pink Floyd, and Radiohead.
