Born to play the drums, Nick was banging on pots, pans and his brother’s drum set at the tender age of three. With his older brother as both competition and a mentor, the boys were truly self-made and would fall asleep hammering out songs on their headboards in the night. In 1999 Nick began playing for his Gospel Church C.O.G.I.C, to progress and learn from another mentor, Big JohnJohn. Nick’s last gig before joining the BBB was playing as the house drummer for the Georgia Shrimp Company. It was there that he perfected the art of improvisation enabling him to enhance any type of music. When asked why he plays, he stated: “I’ve been doing it all my life, Music is all I know.”
