Unafraid to bare his soul on stage, John expresses an intensity that draws you in. Taught piano by his older brother Daniel, John began writing songs at age twelve. But it wasn’t until he schooled himself on the guitar and moved to mountains of CO, that he was truly inspired to make a life out of music. Living with Eric, the boys were able to jam and create many of the songs that are still played today. Destin became the next destination where John and Eric lived and worked on a sailboat, inspiring such songs as Motion, Listen to the Music, Angels Die, Freedom, and Just Play.

John has always used the creation of music for grounding and stress relief, stating it “both keeps my life together, then breaks it apart again”
